Hitachi CP-WX3011N 3LCD Projector
The WXGA-resolution (1,200 x 800) Hitachi CP-WX3011N 3LCD Projector has 3,000 ANSI lumens of projection power at a 2,000:1 contrast ratio so it will give you a brilliant image, even when you can't achieve theater-level darkness.
Its 0.63" 3LCD imaging panels (the part that creates the image) deliver sharper and brighter pictures, reproducing an amazing 16.7 million smooth, seamless colors combined with an unparalleled grayscale range. The 16:10 aspect ratio is not only widescreen-laptop friendly but is widely regarded as the most pleasing to the eye.
Images can be displayed in a wide variety of formats. Of course, the CP-WX3011N can project in 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition. Its international credentials are equally impressive. It can project images in the NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, and SECAM video formats and it has a 100 - 240VAC 50 / 60Hz power supply.
No matter where you use it, if you need to make presentations, you'll appreciate how you can use the remote control's mouse function. Just plug one end of a USB cable (available separately) into your laptop and the other into the projector's USB type B port and you're no longer tied to your computer when presenting. If you want to go computer-less, slip a thumbdrive into the CP-WX3011N's USB Type B port and screen video or still content. At only 7.9 lb the projector is eminently portable, making multiple venue presentations plausible.
The CP-WX3011N makes your audience's life easier too. It can display all four closed captioning channels as well as all four text channels from programming sources that provide CC. CC is useful not only for the hearing impaired but also for those learning English as a second language and for everyone working in noisy environments like gyms or tradeshows.
The CP-WX3011N is seen but not heard in quiet environments. Its fan noise is a mere 35 dB in Standard mode and in Eco mode it runs at 29 dB; literally quieter than a whispered conversation.
Finally, the CP-WX3011N possesses superior connectivity and control features. HDMI, 3 component inputs and a microphone input are all on board. PJlink allows network control and maintenance of multiple Hitachi projectors or any projector that is PJlink compliant. The PJMessenger even allows text message display on networked computers, which is ideal for bulletins in large institutions.3,000 ANSI Lumens at a 2,000:1 Contrast RatioYou've got the projection power you need to present in medium to large rooms even with some ambient light present, which is a handy feature when your audience needs to take notes.3LCD Projector Panels3LCD technology delivers sharper and brighter images with superior grayscale detail. Smooth, seamless color combined with an unparalleled grayscale range delivers incredible detail to every image displayed by the CP-WX3011N. Grayscale is the shades of gray (from black to white) required for greater image depth and detail. It allows greater variation in shadows and brings superior accuracy to color, creating a vivid and true-to-life visual experience.PJManThe CP-WX3011N features PJMan, a Projector Management Application which enables central control of projectors manufactured by different vendors to be operated by a controller.Hybrid FilterProvides a lower cost of ownership requiring less frequent maintenance schedules. (5,000 hours between maintenance).Wide ConnectivityThe wide connectivity allows you to connect to two computer and multiple video sources at the same time. Monitor loop-through is provided for ease of use with desktop computers.Internal 16 Watt Speaker SystemEliminates the need for connection to any external speakers.6,000 Hour Lamp Life (Eco Mode)Another key to low total cost of ownership is a long life lamp. The lamp is rated at 3,000 hours in Standard mode and 6,000 hours in Eco mode.Easy MaintenanceThe lamp door is on the top and the filter cover slides in and out from the front bottom, so maintenance and replacement of these parts is easy.Input Source NamingThis projector offers input source naming so you can forget technical designations like Computer In and give it a user-friendly name like "Mike's Laptop."Built-in SecurityYour CP-WX3011N is equipped with a Kensington Slot bar that allows the attachment of a security chain (available separately). By using the PIN Lock, you can limit the number of users. A transition detector sounds an alarm when the projector is moved.Template FunctionWhen projecting onto a whiteboard, blackboard, etc., this function projects lines, making writing on the board easier. You can choose four types of lines: black lines on a white background, black lines on a white grid, white lines on a black background or white lines on a black grid.PC-less PresentationA USB reader simplifies the connection process, eliminating the need to connect a computer to the projector.Microphone Input and AmplifierComes with a dedicated microphone jack and amplifier.Network PresentationsHitachi makes it easy to project still or moving images from one or more networked computers. The Single PC mode lets you select one computer on the network, while the Multi PC mode allows images to be projected simultaneously from up to four computers. Displaying images from students' computers on a large screen makes lessons much more fun and interesting.
